The athlete and team with the greatest ability to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction quickly will have an advantage over their opponents. 


Speed has been thought of as a natural quality.  You were either born with this quality or you were not.  However, speed is a skill that can and should be taught.  Unfortunately, outside of the track & field coaching community, most team sport coaches don't know how to teach speed. 


XL Training teaches and improves the speed of athletes by focusing on proper running mechanics (linear/lateral speed and change of direction), understanding the application of power, and improving strength, mobility, and flexibility.
